The new Ram RHO is now on sale. While it doesn’t have the SRT Hemi V8, the RHO is still a powerful pickup with 540 horsepower and a starting price of $71,990. The RHO offers a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds and 15 mpg combined for the RHO versus 12 mpg for the TRX. It can also tow up to 8,000 pounds and haul 1,500 pounds.
The Ram 1500 RHO features dual exhaust and a hood scoop. Beyond the looks, the vehicle retains key TRX features like Bilstein adaptive dampers and 35-inch off-road tires. The RHO’s interior includes a 12.3-inch display and a 12-inch touchscreen. The Level 1 package adds a 14.5" screen, front seats with massage, contrasting embroidery and carbon fiber accents.
RHO is lighter than TRX: the new engine weighs 150 pounds less than the heavy V8. This makes RHO more maneuverable and stable off-road. The weight of the Ram 1500 RHO is approximately 6,500 pounds (compared to 7,500 pounds for the TRX).
